“Killed the shows!” “Loved all that red and black!” Fashion correspondents flying over to Berlin Fashion Week had to be talking about Thursday night’s Hugo Boss show. Every designer and their sister has been doing their bone+beige+gray thing for new collections but the Hugo Boss collection  is sticking to its Big City look. Shiny-wet leather looks; dresses, tops, accessories in night blues and deep, jeweled reds; the clothes had all eyes wide open. Here are some views from the fabulous show. See our fabulous shoe ideas too.

Red leather is a show-stopper  in and of itself. Shape it as a stunningly fitted walking coat with strap detail at the waist and you have one mega-strutter. If you like the strut factor in this coat then you will like the shoe designs of Chie Mihara. We’re charmed by the ultra-femme touch of the Chie Mihara Catame Pump Black Leather for this look.

Another Hugo Boss thunderclap of red had many wrapped up in thoughts of wearing the dress out the door. It’s hard not to look perfect in this mini-sheath with graceful long sleeves. We’re leaning toward the elegant look of French Sole flats, with its quilted napa and patent leather cap, for this dress occasion. It’s called French Sole Passport Black Leather.

Model Franziska Knuppe posed on the sidelines, in this tie-belt dress with scalloped details. The ultra red heat in this dress would have been perfect with a Tory Burch classic finish. We would have paired her up with this wardrobe essential, the Tory Burch Reva Black Patent/Black Buckle Ballet Flat.
