You tend to see men topping country music charts; the biggest names, the biggest sellers, all guys. Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban – the list goes on and on. Female chart toppers were once few and far between, but slowly that’s changing. Thanks to stars like Dolly Parton and Faith Hill, women have gained some country music credibility and are getting the respect they deserve. These ladies are all currently at the top of the country music charts. They may be less well known than Taylor Swift, but they’re still super talented – and stylish!

Sara Evans and Diane Von Furstenberg Olivia

Sara Evans has been performing country music for over two decades, but her big break was in 1998 thanks to her duet with Vince Gill, “No Place That Far”. It made it to number one on the country charts, placed in the Billboard top 40, and was the hit single on her album of the same name which was certified gold. Her hit, “My Heart Can’t Tell You No” is currently topping the country music charts at number 27. Here she’s rocking an all black ensemble at last years country music awards. We love her fantastic cuffed wedges, similar to the Diane Von Furstenberg Olivia. The Diane Von Furstenberg wedges are fun and unique, a funky addition to any wardrobe.

Martina McBride and Fiorentini+Baker Eli

Ms. McBride is known for her big voice and impressive vocal range. She’s had multiple top hits over the past two decades including “I Love You” and “This One’s for the Girls”. Martina won the Country Music Association’s Top Female Vocalist award four times along with numerous other awards for her singing skills. Her song, ”I’m Gonna Love You Through It” currently ranks at number 20 on the country music charts.  Here Martina shows off her tough side in a mini-dress, leather jacket and biker boots, similar to the Fiorentini+Baker Eli. These stylish Fiorentini+Baker boots are a fantastic, fashionable choice for fall and winter wear.

Miranda Lambert and Converse Chuck Taylor

The young singer got her start on the 2003 season of the show “Nashville Star” Though she didn’t win the show (she placed third) she was signed to Epic Records and has had a successful career since. Her very first album went certified platinum and she’s had over a half dozen chart topping hits. Miranda was listed in the 100 Greatest Women of Country Music by Country Universe and currently tops the country music charts at number five with her single “Baggage Claim.” Here, at LAX after a flight, she keeps in casual in comfy sneakers similar to the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars. Converse sneakers are a versatile wardrobe staple and truly a classic shoe.
