Raise your hand if you own a pair of jeans! Okay, I bet that you didn’t raise your hand, but you still own a pair of jeans (or two, or three..) Jeans are a classic casual wardrobe staple. They can be dressed up or down, but they are definitely not evening wear. Jeans are very versatile though and denim is used for all kinds of clothing from jackets to button ups and belts. Today though, we are sharing some classic jean looks with denim pants. There are so many styles of pants to wear and enjoy and the celebs wear them all.
Rachael Taylor and Jeffrey Campbell Stud Loafer
This may seem like a basic black and gray denim ensemble but Australian actress Rachael Taylor spices it up with funky flats. If you look closely, you’ll see that her black loafers are embellished with studs like the Jeffrey Campbell Elegant Stud Loafer. This Jeffrey Campbell loafer is wearable but edgy and it’s also available in gray and beige. Rachael is an actress and model who has had recurring roles on Charlie’s Angels and Grey’s Anatomy and she’s currently filming a made for t.v. movie called ” 666 Park Ave” in New York City. We can only guess this will be a horror film.
Tara Reid and Fiorentini+Baker Eli
What’s cooler than colored denim? All the rage in the nineties, the look has recently come back with a vengeance. Jeans are available in every imaginable color from pastel purples to neon pinks. Tara wears her red denim with a fur jacket and biker boots, similar to the Fiorentini+Baker Eli. These funky Fiorentini+Baker boots are tough and trendy. You can wear your colored denim with any shoe or boot you like, just remember to wear a fairly basic top to avoid making the look too bold. Unless of course, you want to color block, which is a popular trend right now. Will you be checking out Tara’s new flick “American Reunion”?
Olivia Palermo and Stuart Weitzman Giveable
Olivia Palermo rocks super skinny jeans, slightly cropped at the ankle a la Audrey Hepburn. The “cigarette pants” of the fifties and sixties are now back in style and a new trend has also emerged – jeggings. Jeggings are often worn under longer tops, but skinny jeans can be worn with nearly anything. Olivia pairs hers with a loose sweater and flats, similar to the Stuart Weitzman Giveable. These Stuart Weitzman flats are a simple, sweet accessory for skinny denim. Skinny jeans look darling with flats and also work well tucked under boots. Cropped skinny jeans like Olivia’s pair perfectly with flats – so chic.
