Little Miss Sunshine Is All Grown Up

Abigail Breslin might have been the ugly ducking more than a few years ago in the film, Little Miss Sunshine. But on Tuesday, May 11th, she dressed up, stepped out and looked like a beautiful young adult woman at the 2010 Project Sunshine Benefit that was at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Fourteen year-old Abigail definitely shone in a pink ruffled cocktail dress with a fuchsia waist bow sash from Dolce & Gabana. And the gold platform sandals she was wearing looked a lot like Chinese Laundry’s Fire It Up platform sandal in gold snake. The python-printed upper is quite dressy and very sophisticated–this was a great choice with her dress.

Another great choice would have been a silver shoes–it’s a little less flashy and very demure, like Abigail. Pelle Moda’s Vino platform evening sandal in gold leather has stone embellishments and is real leather. This sophisticated shoe is under $200 and won’t break the bank after spending all that loot on the Dolce & Gabana cocktail dress.

If you haven’t heard, Little Miss Sunshine is headed to the stage! We’re not quite sure if Abigail will be reprising her role as Olive, but anything is possible. But, will she go back to her old look for the role is the question.
