London Celebs Melt the Ice at Harrods

A royal turnout of London VIPs braved ice and cold to attend last week’s Christmas Ball at upscale Harrods to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Big money and Hollywood also mingled at the ball to raise lots of money.  The Prime Minister’s wife Samantha Cameron and actress Helena Bonham Carter were just a few of the night’s shining stars. Harrods spared none of its magic to create a Dickensian scene styled as a winter market. A grand time was had by all. We had the grandest time looking at guests’ coats, dresses, and shoes.

Princess Beatrice walks into the Merrie Olde ball at a brave, brisk pace to get out of the cold. Her wonderful black coat with its double-breasted buttons and flared skirt  was the night’s hit, sending praise her way as a princess destined for greater heights, just  like the fate of this popular boot from Jeffrey Campbell. We love the way the shoe goes with her attractive tights, dress and coat ensemble. This is the Jeffrey Campbell Pixie Black Leather.

Heather Kerzner, wife of billionaire magnate Sol Kerzner, arrives at the Dickensian Ball at Harrods looking rich and happy in a bright red gown with gold trim. A lovely shoe for this dress would have been this buttery soft Vera Wang Lavender Della Sandal, Bone Leather. Its sophisticated wrap design in ruched glove leather is pure elegance. Made in Italy.

Samantha Cameron, wife of the British prime minister, turned heads with her smile and wet-look coat by Pringle. With its three-quarter length sleeves and wonderful, roomy chic, we knew the magic shoe had to be the Vera Wang Lavender Lisa Black Leather ballet flat. The art is all in the super rhinestone ornament; it would illuminate the coat and the charming Samantha!
