It was the start of a beautiful friendship this past October 12 as JCPenney and MNG by Mango celebrated the launch of their joint line at New York City’s Capitale. The affordable collection exudes European high fashion. Janelle Monae’s music entertained the crowd as stars such as Kelly Rutherford, Alex MCCord, Tinsley Mortimer, and Adrienne Bailon came out to enjoy the festivities and runway show. The line will be available at JCPenney stores nationwide.
The Bachelorette’s Ali Fedotowski looked cute as can be in this grey romper with a thick black belt cinched at the waist. Her black blazer and peep-toe shoes completed the look with utter elegance. But we wondered what if Fedotowski pushed the fashion envelope with these Pedro Garcia Chenoa black suede open-toe booties? The 4-inch heel and 1-inch platform most certainly would have upped the sass factor.
Adrienne Bailon stopped to pose for photographers in this olive Lipsy London mesh dress. Bailon’s sleep hairstyle nicely complemented her strapless frock, which gathers at the waist. To round off the look, she donned black pumps and dangly earrings. We think that Pelle Moda Vinos in black could have brought out the true tiger in this Cheetah Girl.
Reality star and high society fashionista, Tinsley Mortimer, dressed in a Marie Tulip Skirt Dress by Alice and Olivia for the evening’s fete. The berry abstract floral print was nicely offset by a gold evening clutch and a gold chunky bracelet. Her boot sandals are killer, but she could have really knocked the look out of the ball park with Stuart Weitzman’s Evening Swag Gold Leather pumps.
