The Twentieth Annual MTV Movie Awards were held last night in California and the stars came out in full force. The fashion was fabulous, as expected, but each winner was quite surprised. We’d like to congratulate them, as well as all of the talented nominees but first, lets get to the style. The award show is a more modern event where stars tend to rock fun, eclectic styles. While the Grammy’s often bring glamour, the MTV Movie awards are filled with playful, risque and laid back looks. No gown is necessary, but all the winners are stylish. Check out the award winners styles below.
Shailene Woodley and Jeffrey Campbell Elegant
Here actress Shailene Woodley, best known fer her starring role on “The Secret Life Of An American Teenager”, is seen here at the Honor Fall 2012 Fashion Show during New York Fashion Week. She pairs black skinny jeans with a button up and a boyfriend fit cardigan. She completes her look with smoking slippers similar to the Jeffrey Campbell Elegant. These bejeweled Jeffrey Campbell loafers are sure to make a statement. Shailene won her movie award for her “Breakthrough Performance” in “The Descendants” She nailed the role and the movie, also starring George Clooney garnered critical acclaim.
Jennifer Aniston and Diane Von Furstenberg Bang
We are absolutely in love with this on trend peplum dress. The dress is gorgeous and modern with a great shape, a fun pattern and leather accents. Jen has recently been rocking the leather look and it really works on her. She completes her look with a black clutch and sexy stilettos similar to the Diane Von Furstenberg Bang. These hot Diane Von Furstenberg heels have a great pointed toe that’s just fierce, like Jen’s dress. Her outfit is almost as flawless as her movie award winning performance for “Best On-Screen Dirtbag” in the comedy “Horrible Bosses”.
Elizabeth Banks and Stuart Weitzman Platswoon
Actress Elizabeth Banks starred in several flicks including “Role Models” and “Our Idiot Brother”. Though she has had many roles, she was best known for her comedic characters until starring in teen drama “The Hunger Games”. Her role as “Effie Trinket” scored her a movie award for “Best On Screen Transformation” and what a transformation it was. She’s spotted here on her way to the “Jon Stewart Show” where she was promoting another recent film, “Man On A Ledge”. She rocks a fierce but feminine vibe in a lace top and leather jacket paired with skinny jeans and patent pumps, similar to the Stuart Weitzman Platswoon. Patent pumps, like this Stuart Weitzman pair, look lovely with leather. Elizabeth is set to star in five films due out this year so she’ll be a big name by next when “Hunger Games” sequel “Catching Fire” comes out.
