Word around town is that Naomi Campbell is getting married to her boyfriend, Russian millionaire and the Donald Trump of Russia, Vladislav Doronin. They started dating in 2008 and Vlad bought her an $18.5 million dollar condo in Brazil to show his love–hasn’t this guy ever heard of a dozen long-stem roses? And supposedly, fashion designer and magazine editor, Dasha Zhukova, will be bridesmaid. Although Naomi’s publicist says this is all just speculation and there are no photos of a ring on her finger, stranger things have happened. Any way you slice it, it’s nice that Naomi is finally getting some positive press, for a change.
Naomi won’t be the only bride running down the aisle this Spring. Here are a few suggestions for Naomi and all you ladies who are looking for the perfect shoe to compliment your wedding dress, be it casual or extremely over-the-top.
If you like height and something simple, yet elegant, Kate Spade’s Glenda patent white platforms have a perfect silhouette that won’t take away from your dress and give you an extra 4 inches in height. Plus they are quality shoes made in Italy and are extremely comfortable.
Go a little over the top in Stuart Weitzman’s Evening Swag platform pump in white satin–these shoes are elegant, yet subtle. Plus, they are dyable so all your bridesmaids can wear the same shoes, or if you choose to go with a non-white dress, you’re covered.
And if you decide to get married on the beach in your shorts or jeans and want to not go barefoot, Jack Rogers Navajo sandals in white with white trim are not only timeless, but comfortable and considered the most-loved resort sandals in the world.
Whatever you decide, we hope you marry the man of your dreams and have a fairytale wedding!
