As some of you may know, this past week was New York Fashion Week. The semi-annual fashion week (held in September and February) with dozens of designer collections kicks off fashion weeks around the world. Following New York, fashion weeks complete with major shows will be held in cities like Paris and Milan. Celebs come out in full force wearing their best, worst and most interesting duds. Here are some standouts from the week.

Dakota Fanning and Stuart Weitzman Chantelle

Dakota Fanning keeps it interesting at the Rodarte show in a unique, grown up look. She wears a sculpted sea foam top with saffron accents and matching cropped saffron pants. It’s a sophisticated look that the young star pulls off well. She pairs her outfit with a simple bracelet and silver peep toes similar to the Stuart Weitzman Chantelle. These shiny Stuart Weitzman pumps feature crystal accents and Chantilly lace uppers making a very glamorous evening shoe.

Maria Sharapova and Kate Spade Kirkland

Tennis super star Maria Sharapova looks chic at the Vera Wang fashion show. She pairs a coral blouse with a textured skirt, and we love her cream and black coat. She completes her outfit with black tights and leather ankle boots similar to the Kate Spade Kirkland. These elegant Kate Spade boots will pair nicely with tights as well, the black on black will make the gold pop. All in all, what makes this look great are the tights and the coat which pull everything together.

Kate Mara and Steve Madden Beautey

Heiress and actress Kate Mara is spotted at the Tracy Reese fashion show in a cute blue jacket, black skinny jeans and tan platform pumps, strikingly similar to the Steve Madden Beautey. These sexy Steve Madden heels are trendy and modern. Kate Mara is the older sister of “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” star Rooney Mara, her family owns both the New York Giants and The Pittsburgh Steelers and she’s starred in nearly a dozen movies – not such a bad life.
