The news broke today, December 27, that Natalie Portman is pregnant and engaged to choreographer Benjamin Millepied. Portman and Millepied met on the set of Black Swan, which Portman is up for a Golden Globe award. Since we love the silver screen star so much, and we are extremely excited by the big announcement, today’s post is in full honor of her past fashion moments.
Natalie Portman attends the 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party earlier this year in March. The evening was hosted by Graydon Carter and held at Sunset Tower in Hollywood, where Portman wore a strapless Lanvin dress, Tiffany & Co. jewels and Aldo black peep-toe shoes. We love that Portman matched her shoes with her black clutch; however, these Vera Wang Lavendar Della Sandals in black leather would have given the star a bit more edge. Plus Vera Wang Lavender shoes always give a high fashion and sophisticated, which describes Portman exactly.
Portman and fiance Millepied took a romantic walk through the crisp winter air this past month. She’s bundled up appropriately in a black down jacket that lands at knee’s length. Her lavender colored hat gives the perfect amount of color to the outfit. To add some shine to her black ensemble, Portman could have opted for Hunter’s Regent Savoy Rain Boots in black. Hunter Boots give fashionistas such as Portman a fashion savvy look for both urban and country lifestyles.
Natalie Portman arrived at the Grey Goose Soho House pre-Oscar’s party in L.A. this spring looking ravishing in the multi-colored haute-couture ensemble. Her patent-leather peep-toes are cute, but we would have killed to see her in Stuart Weitzman Evening Glotallulah White Satin heels. Just as any fashion-forward diva knows, Stuart Weitzman Evening shoes don’t just accompany a special occasion, they create the occasion.
