A rollicking good time was had in London’s West End Monday night when entertainment notables gathered at the Woop Woop Bar in the Palace Theater to spread joy over the musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert and to mark the launch of something called “Priscilla Parties.”  Marketing students would call this Loverly. It’s where ticket holders attend a pre-show party, with karaoke, no less, and meet members of the cast. We had great fun watching arrivals and their ensembles.

Actress amd TV presenter Denise Welch looked ravishing in red. The neckline and smartly cut sleeves make this dress a show-stopper. We liked the multi-colored open-toes, opening up all kinds of possibilities for blending boas, purses or jackets. This dress put us in a kittenish frame of mind, for shoes feather-light with a dainty bow. We thought of Bettye Muller. Here’s our pick, the Bettye Muller Sorbet Slingback Pump Black Patent.

Lauren Pope, superglam model, shows what bright yellow can do as an evening look with black tights. Her yellow/black combo is a very It move, and we went over to Pelle Moda for that look’s complement. Check out  this Pelle Moda Issa 2 Peep Toe Pump Black Suede. The swag of that suede strap, Fantastic!

Pop singer and TV personality Liz McClarnon shows not everyone hates to walk past a construction site looking like, well, Liz. This so-tight-can-you-breathe dress needs a bold shoe, and we know a bold shoe. This is the Gastone Lucioli 2014 Bootie Black Suede that Gastone Lucioli fans cannot stop talking about. The wow factor is the clock-stopping cut-out design, made in Italy.
