- The Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) Awards took place last night (January 30) at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium. TV and film’s finest actresses stepped out for the ceremonial event. The red carpet was bursting with color, glamour and over-the-top excitement.
Jane Krakowski upped the glamour with sparkle in her one-shoulder Badgley Mischka sheath. The mom-to-be wore a pair of bone colored open-toe pumps that added height and pizzazz to the her ensemble. But we would have gone with a pair of black shoes, like these Stuart Weitzman Avalon Black Glitter, to complement the silver dress. You can never go wrong in a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes.
Rosario Dawson looked sprightly in her yellow J Mendel dress and Ferragamo shoes and clutch. She also adorned herself in jewelry by Susie Fox & Neil Lane. She chose wisely with her soft hued shoes, but we think these Pelle Moda Colettes would have been a better choice for the red carpet. A pair of Pelle Moda shoes is also a wardrobe staple.
Ariel Winter, star of “Modern Family,” wore an age-appropriate, ’50s-inspired, off-white Luisa Beccaria dress with a black belt. We love that she chose to match her shoes and clutch to the single ebony accessory on the dress; however, the pumps she chose are too tall for the petite teen starlet. A more suiting pair of shoes would have been Roberto Festa’s Lizzie Slingback. These Roberto Festa shoes are chic and feminine— perfect for Winter.
