Seriously glam at Comedy Awards

England was its Merrie Olde self on Saturday night when the country’s comedic stars touched down in London for the annual British Comedy Awards. We found serioius fashion dressing in glammed-up evening dresses and longer gowns. A-list names on stage included ageless Hollywood star Goldie Hawn and perennially chic Jerry Hall. Here are our top picks on the Who Wore What With Which Shoes scoreboard.

Goldie Hawn showed up in this gold, shiny dress that accentuated her ageless perkiness and Beverly Hills Blonde aura. Adoring fans cheered her on while our thoughts immediately turned to Kate Spade. We wanted to see Goldie’s shoes take on a dressed-up look with the Kate Spade Lyon Sandal Gold Leather.

Dancing on Ice star Elen Rivas made home base on the blue carpet with this stunning outfit. Not to be confused with the little black dress, this off-the-shoulder number has beautiful white ruffly detailing. It’s worthy of a Saturday Night Response from the inimitable Sam Edelman. We would want to see  this dress with the Sam Edelman Lorissa Pump Black Leather.

Singer Stacey Solomon made the right moves to choose this beige dress. But candy-red open-toe heels? We liked the flattering low-cut bodice and banded waist of the dress and thought about a Tory Burch accent that resonates. Here is the evening-ready Tory Burch Reva Gold Crack Snake Leather Ballet Flat.

Jerry Hall looking thoroughly amused and fabulous at Awards night…loved her gray and black modern-art batik dress with cropped jacket. If Goldie Hawn is perennial Vegas Cutie, Jerry is ageless Runway Fashionista. We award her a dressier shoe look from Stuart Weitzman. This is the Stuart Weitzman Bandaritz Pump Black Patent. The criss-cross front contributes to its design elegance, perfect for Jerry.
