Can you fly with all these buzz-makers, are they off their nuts, talking about which designers will play dress-up for who at the Oscars NEXT year? We’re not even into Thanksgiving. But the truth is they know best. Fashion Week gossip scouts are the ones most suited to dress-guess what is likely to happen at next year’s floodlit Stretch Limo night. Fashion Week is behind us… but not entirely. What was worn on the New York runways has morphed into predictions of who will wear what at the Oscars. Shhh…sneak preview follows.

An A-list choice for Julia Roberts is this Victoria Beckham gown, with star power emanating from every fold of this richly textured black dress. We hope that she will settle for nothing less than Pour La Victoire’s Irina black patent pumps with this gown. Simplicity in dress, regal contours in shoes, on Julia smiling out into the vast audience. Does it get any starrier than this?

This Carolina Herrera number is fit for the top stars. Where it most belongs is on a starlet with blonde hair and super-moisturized shoulders tanned at the poolside and toned at the spas. Renee, are you excited? After fashionistas gasp at the dress design, their eyes will check out the shoes. Renee should want these ooh-supple Stuart Weitzman Evening Delovely sandals in pewter kid.

An easy vision is how Penelope Cruz can raise a few thousand temperatures with this Michael Kors creation in pink, when she rocks on Oscars Night. Off one shoulder and side-draped, the dress speaks to the flow and form of this Spanish superstar. One Cruz thigh will be worth a thousand mentions too, if she finishes the dress with these t-strap Fact sandals from Pelle Moda, in platinum gold leather.
