Hollywood’s brightest stars stepped out last weekend to salute Chilean miners and their rescuers at the “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute” event held in LA. The audience delivered a standing ovation to the brave Chilean men, who CNN brought over to the States to attend. We usually press the buzzer at least once for clothing disasters at any show, but Saturday’s red carpet was truly blessed. Demi Moore, Renee Zellweger and AnnaLynne McCord were among the celebrities who were dressed at their finest to honor the heroes.

Demi Moore provided inspiration for all the 40-somethings who hope to pound their bodies into shape. She wore a striking Marios Schwab sheath with print pumps. This stunning blue dress in more casual surroundings could be paired with a special treat from Stuart Weitzman Shoes. We have our eyes on the Stuart Weitzman Alex Swamp Crochet as a dress-up, dress-down, chameleon. Made in Spain, this elegantly styled shoe has a crochet fabric.

Renee Zellweger usually looks as if she’s dressed to kill. On this night, her pink satin Caroline Herrera and shoes looked as if they’re dressed to kill her. Talk about suffering. One medic diagnosed her stiff dilemma as a hot pink reaction. Surgeons versed in orthopaedics said her spiked feet were screaming. Kate Spade, the queen of Simple yet Standout, would have had a cure. The miracle shoes that can bring Renee back to life are Kate Spade Mattie Black Satin evening sandals.

AnnaLynne McCord held court with a special salute to her heroes. Did she not look gorgeous… and ready to fly off to a New York? This fur-cuff knit dress should get a lot of letters to Santa; it’s by Alice + Olivia. We know that an East Coast translation will oh so work when she trades in her Christian Louboutin cuties for posh fishnets and softer Biviel pull-on boots. They are the Biviel BV2711 bootie, black suede.
