There are so many types of stylish sandals from dressy flip flops to stunning thongs, heels and wedges. You can go strappy or simple. There are plenty of options when dressing up your sandals. It’s easy to go awry though, so take some tips from these stars.
We absolutely love Amy Smart’s adorable ensemble at non-profit event, Heal the Bay’s 25th annual “Night Under the Stars”. She wears a single shoulder cocktail dress and pairs it fabulously with silver Tory Burch sandals, similar to the Tory Burch Thora. These shimmery sandals are a dressier take an the basic flip flop and they look fantastic with Amy’s dress. You might recognize Amy from movies like “Just Friends” and “House of The Rising Sun”. She also stars alongside Selma Blair in the independent thriller, “Columbus Circle”.
Jennifer Lawrence has starred in several shows and films including “The Bill Envall Show”, “The X-men” and “Winter’s Bone” for which she received critical acclaim but not huge amounts of fame. She is best known for her breakout role as ‘Katniss’ in “The Hunger Games”. Jennifer may play a female heroine in a post-apocalyptic world, but her style is very modern. Here she’s spotted outside the David Letterman show in a grey dress covered by a short white trench coat paired with gladiator sandal style shoes like the MICHAEL Michael Kors Berkley. These hot Michael Kors heels are a wardrobe staple. This look, by the way, is reminiscent of another Jennifer’s look – JLo’s icy white mini-trench and hot heels.
Actress Uma Thurman of “Kill Bill” fame is the tall and takented, coming in at six feet. She cab still rock heels, but looks stunning in sandals. Here she is spotted at the “Diamonds Are Girls Best Friend” event during the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival. She shines in a layered lace dress and sparkly t-strap sandals, similar to the Tory Burch Pacey. These gorgeous pewter sandals by Tory Burch add a girly/glam shine to any look without being over the top. They are also available in tan which we absolutely love.
