Sunday’s premiere of ‘The Artist’ rocked Cannes with rave reviews from critics, carried away with the black and white film about the dying days of silent films. The movie was silent, but we couldn’t stop talking about the beautiful people making Cannes their playground and their endless red carpet. Check out Sunday’s starlets and our starlet-worthy shoes.

Delphine Chaneac and Dolce Vita Jollen

Delphine Chaneac was at the premiere in this frothy white dress that made us scream for a fab, posh suede Dolce Vita espadrille with an extra touch of glamour. Delphine’s dress is divine whether spiked up with dress pumps or eased on down with the Dolce Vita Jollen Wedge Red Nubuck.

Hofit Golan and Diane Von Furstenberg Morgan

Hofit Golan, seen at the premiere with Said Taghmaoui, reigned as the Woman in Red. We like the saucy shoe from the Diane Von Furstenberg line as her attractive glider. It’s the Diane Von Furstenberg Morgan Sandal Red Leather, with gold-rimmed heel.

Sonam Kapoor and Kate Spade Maribeth

The beautiful Sonam Kapoor had the most talked-about dress, all in the positive direction, as a floating work of art. We knew where to look in the Kate Spade collection for something goassamer, feather-light, and just as color-harmonious. This is the uber-elegant Kate Spade Maribeth Evening Sandal Silver Snake Print.
