When it comes to fashion, a lot can be learned from today’s celebrities. Many are fortunate enough to have personal stylists who assist them in planning their every look. If you want to dress like a fashion pro, just follow the stars. We’re not talking about imitation, just inspiration. Seeing what stylists are dressing stars in you’ll be able to spot upcoming trends, see what works and pick up some fantastic fashion tips. Just by looking at their feet, you can learn some things.  Below are just several examples of star shoe style savvy-ness that you can use too.

Shantel VanSanten and Stuart Weitzman Crissy

Model and actress Shantel VanSanten of “One Tree Hill” and “The Final Destination” at a CW “One Tree Hill” event. She rocks a dusty pink dress paired with gold pumps, similar to the Stuart Weitzman Crissy. These great Stuart Weitzman sandals add shine to an evening out. What do we learn from Shantel? Metallics are the new neutrals! They match any color or print and add a fun twist as opposed to a basic black or blue. Metallics like gold and silver are great for evening wear but can be dressed down for the daytime.

Nina Dobrev and Steve Madden Partyy-R

Degrassi actress Nina Dobrev now stars on the hit show “The Vampire Diaries”. The Bulgarian-Canadian actress is spotted at a benefit dinner for “The Water Project”.  She wears a fantastic little black dress with a corseted body, lace layering a great fit. She pairs the black with a bold fuchsia  heel, similar to the Steve Madden Partyy-R. You’re sure to be the life of the party in these bright pink Steve Madden pumps. Nina teaches us not to be afraid of color, adding a pop here and there can add a playful vibe to your look.

Judy Greer and Diane Von Furstenberg Bang

Actress Judy Greer, star of numerous romantic comedies including “The Wedding Planner” and “13 Going On 30″ is seen here at a party hosted by “InStyle” magazine. She looks chic in her bright dress and blazer. She completes her electric look with patent leather pumps, similar to the Diane Von Furstenberg “Bang”. These Diane Von Furstenberg shoes are a sexy spin on a basic black heel. They feature a classic silhouette paired with a high gloss finish. Judy shows us that basic black patent pumps add flare to any look for understated glamour. The shiny shoes can be worn day or night, and even to work!
